"Déjà Vu" makes you feel, relive, and imagine..."

We woke up this morning to read an incredibly thoughtful review of our newest song, "Déjà Vu" by the talented, Lisa Zimmer.   Here is an excerpt from the post;

Instantly, the electric sound grips the listener with a current country charm collided with an alternative rock vibe. A timeless combination that you can’t help but rock to; the kind that causes you to nod and shake your head from musicality, lyrics, and the way it makes you feel, relive, and imagine.
Already Two Way Crossing struck gold...
Jenny’s voice and the accompanying music subtly sets the scene. You, yourself, are stuck at the red light on Broadway and 6th, too.  Quickly, but timely, the chorus reveals itself as Blake’s voice is introduced and the introduction riff is repeated, perfectly portraying the passion and thoughts the two in the song are having.  The chorus is powerful and bleeds the story’s passion and underlying meaning, but is sensitive in revealing the Déjà Vu element in the song. The story progresses and follows in a cycle giving “Déjà Vu” a clever and honest meaning...

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta

After a whirlwind week of shows, we ended this week on an extreme high!  After 3 nights of playing at Dirty Bourbon, and almost no sleep, we headed bright and early to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta stage to load-in for the show opening for The Band Perry and Gloriana.  We met some incredible people, talented musicians and had a blast playing our music for the masses in one of Jenny's hometowns, Albuquerque, NM.

Music Row DisCovery Award

Hey Y’all!!!

Just wanted to pass on a write up that we found out we were featured in!  In yesterday’s MusicRow News, Robert Oermann, took the time to review our latest single “Deep End” and gave us the honor of the Music Row DisCovery Award of the week.  How cool is that?!  We are very humbled and appreciate the positive review!

Here are excerpts:

It gives me comfort to know that country remains the music of choice for so many wanna-be’s. Today, we have a female, a duo and two bands in the running for theDisCovery Award. The groups are The Railers and The Washers. The lady is Abbi Walker. The winning act is the duo, Two Way Crossing. There’s just something so fresh and innocent and endearing in their approach. Welcome to the party.
TWO WAY CROSSING/Deep End
Writers: White/Conner/Caver; Producer: Steve Pasch; Publishers: none listed; TWC (track)
-Two Way Crossing is a male-female duo comprised of Jenny & Blake Marvin. This rhythm-happy single from its seven-song EP is a sprightly romance ditty with a built-in smile. Bright and joyous.

Rave Review for "Deep End"

Rave Review for “Deep End” – (One Stop Country)

This has been a big week for TWC!  With a successful release to radio, the reviews are coming in for their just-released single, “Deep End”.  This one comes from One Stop County (www.OneStopCountry.com)

“That is the case with the Nashville based husband/wife duo Two Way Crossing. Blake and Jenny Marvin have started to earn radio play with their new single “Deep End” and it’s easy to see why. The catchy, modern country tune grabs your attention from the start with the guitar riff.

Though songs like this are familiar, it is the ability to take the familiar and somehow make it fresh again that makes an artist exciting. Two Way Crossing has done it and because of it, they are creating a buzz about them and they are prime candidate for the next duo to leap from aspiring to Top 40 act.”
